technology in practice

Great class today folks! I think one of the beneficial things to come out of our discussion was the need for a hand-on, practical look at the power of technology and networks in action. To that end, poke around and see if you can find any videos or articles that focus on the implications and mobilization of technology–the “globalization in practice” type of material that was missing from Mattelart’s historical study. Don’t forget the history of networks, but think about how they have been mobilized in service of various narratives and PROJECTS. See what you come up with!
